The Hills Montessori School has been operating in the Adelaide Hills for more than forty-five years, nurturing the curiosity of children in their educational programs.
We offer an education based on the Montessori philosophy of respect for self, others and the environment by fostering a love of learning and commitment to community.
Our 2 campuses are located in Aldgate & Stirling
Located across two campuses, our Yultiwirra primary campus is in Aldgate while our Wairoa Middle School campus, which caters for our Adolescent Program, is in Stirling.

Our Open Days for 2024 are running at both of our campuses through out the school year. Private Principal’s tours can also be arranged by contacting the school.

Our Programs
Our school caters for children and young people, from birth to 15 years of age through a range of different programs and Cycles across two campuses. The Hills Montessori School’s curriculum is an in-depth and integrated one, designed to develop the ‘whole child’. The National Montessori Curriculum is taught which has been approved by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA).

Our Reconciliation Action Plan
In 2021 our school launched our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). We value connections with our First Nations people, in particular members of the Kaurna and Peramangk.
